DIMAPUR — President
of the Angami Public Organisation (APO), Thejao Vihienuo, attended the second
day of Poanglüm Hornbill Festival 2025, which also marked the Lamshok (peace
treaty) as the special guest and MLA Imtichoba Chang as the festival host at

Speaking on the occasion, Vihienuo expressed his joy to see

recalled an Angami family that lived in Tuensang way back in the 1940s thereby
showing the close relationship between the Chang and Angami tribes.
He stated that Poanglüm 2025 is a milestone for both the
communities and reassured the Chang community that the APO would be happy to
extend their assistance if any trouble arises in the Angami area, stated a DIPR
report.
He added that Changs are the most humble and peace loving
community and believed that the friendship between the two communities would be
strengthened.
The programme was followed by cultural show and indigenous
games such as top spinning, Gogona, pork eating competition and fire-making.
The evening session concluded with Mr. and Miss Chang 2025
