Dimapur, May 11 (EMN): The All Nagaland College Students’ Union has appealed the chief electoral officer (CEO) of Nagaland to exempt the staff of Nagaland University’s Examination Branch from election assignments during the coming Lok Sabha by-polls
In a letter addressed to the CEO, the student group on Friday stated that ‘the NU exam section is tirelessly working for timely declaration of end semester results and other procedural works’. “The NU Exam section has very limited manpower for all the mentioned assignments and for which it may possibly affect the timely declaration of results. It may also be noted that timely declaration of results shall definitely anticipate advantages for the student seeking admissions in other state/central universities. In view of the above mentioned facts, your esteemed authority is kindly requested for immediate intervention and necessary action,” the letter read.
