Dimapur, Aug. 14 (EMN): The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has called off their boycott of classes across the state but with the rider that the Nagaland government address the union’s demands, submitted to the chief minister, within this week.
A statement from the ANCSU on Tuesday informed that its meeting with the chief minister was ‘inconclusive’. However, it asked the students to attend classes, and that the authorities in concern conduct all ‘examinations and activities’ within this week.
The union has asked the government to address its demands within the period too ‘to avoid further confrontations.’ The union warned that ‘all the students shall openly confront’ government vehicles from Monday and restrict their movement if the government would fail to meet the deadline.
