Dimapur, May 14 (EMN): The All Nagaland Ad-hoc Teacher’s Group (ANATG) 2015 batch has announced a three-day pen down strike beginning from May 16.
A press release from the group on Monday informed that, on April 30 an ultimatum was served to the advisor of School Education, Government of Nagaland for service regularisation. The ultimatum was followed by a meeting with the advisor, principal secretary, secretaries, and director of School Education department, and deliberated on the issue but could not bring out any concrete solution or assurance from the government and the ultimatum got expired on May 11.
The press note mentioned that on expiry of the ultimatum, the executives had decided to launch a first phase agitation in the form of pen down strike from May 16-18. According to the press note, the aggrieved ANATG has no other option but to keep on pursuing the matter by exercising legitimate right in the form of protest on phase wise agitation till service regularization is done by the government.
The group has informed all its members throughout the state to strictly adhere with the resolution passed by the group.
According to the updates, the ANATG 2015 Batch, which comprised of 1166 members, had cleared all the formalities consisting of suitability test (departmental exam), documents spot verification and screening of documents from the department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms and is awaiting for cabinet approval for service regularization since last year.
