Dimapur, Aug. 29 (EMN): The All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers’ Group- 2015 Batch (ANATG-2015 batch) on Monday said that it has “become inevitable” to resume its suspended agitation to express “resentment in a democratic form against the government for denying our rights.”
ANATG 2015 in a press release informed that after going through all phases and rounds of efforts, it had served an ultimatum to the department concerned and the state government with a timeframe of 30 days on July 21, 2022.
“The ANATG during the period of ultimatum has also undertaken several follow ups and other necessary perusals by obtaining advices and suggestions from the different stakeholders involved. However, regardless of undertaking all possible requisite approaches to the department/government, our regularization matter at hand is yet to be addressed, despite serving an ultimatum and the expiry of the same,” it stated.
Announcing its decision to resume agitation, ANATG 2015 directed all the district unit executives and general members to be prepared and ready to gather at Kohima within a 48 hours notice.
