This is to make an appeal to the contractors of 4-lane construction on Nh-29 starting from Burma Camp traffic point to Dhansiri Bridge that due to on-going construction of 4-lane roads, the colonies lying side by side along the National Highway are facing horriblyfrom dust-polluted atmosphere. The cloud of dust that came and settled over all houses of the areas has created a great havoc to health hazard. A house has to be swept five-six times a day; no clothes can be dried outside; no houses can be stayed open in spite of scorching heat. Every household memberhas to stay with ninja dust protective mask. Window panes, doors and roof-top are all covered with snow of dust. This is a great concern for the public! Therefore, through this readers’ column, the respected concerned contractors are requested to spray water in the morning at 5 am every now and then so that the dustiness could be avoided to some extent.The colonies of the areas would be greatly thankful if your concern is meted out for the appeal.
