Kohima, May 12 (EMN): Amur Falcon FC defeated the top gun of the league, All Blacks 7-0 at Kohima local ground on Friday morning. With the loss, All Blacks tasted their first defeat after a month of successive wins at the ongoing Morning Premier League.
In the match, Amur Falcon scored the first goal in the 27th minute through Seyei from a free kick and the first half ended 1-0.
However, the second half saw six goals coming from Amur Falcon side. Seyie added his second goal in 46th minute and completed his hat-trick via a penalty in the 65th minute.
Akum and Chipang also added more misery to All Blacks as they contributed a goal each and Mele with his effort scored two goals in 7th minute during the last quarter of the match to make it 7-0.
Ben of Amur Falcon and Alodi of All Blacks were awarded a yellow each for a foul play during the match.
Despite the defeat, All Blacks remained on top with 25 points and 4 points above the second placed Medical XI, while Amur Falcon sharing the same 18 points with MRH FC is in the 4th place on a better goal difference of the Morning League table.
