Kohima, June 16 (EMN): Amur Falcon FC narrowly defeated MRH FC 2-1 goals playing at the ongoing Morning Premier League, Kohima local ground on Friday morning. With the win, Amur Falcon with 30 points from 15 matches moved above MRH FC in 4th place of the Morning Premier League table and five points shy of the league leaders Medical XI.

Amur Falcon scored two successive goals in the 17th minute during the first half. Mele opened the scoring in the 1st minute through an assist from Rokou before Chips doubled the lead prior to half-time to make it 2-0.
Zakie of MRH FC pulled back on in the second half, but there was no comebacks as Amur Falcon held on for the win.
MRH FC with three wins in the previous matches ended their unbeaten streak and Friday defeat means MRH FC are out of the title race with three games to go through.
