Kohima, May 31 (EMN): Team Amplified emerged champion of the 2nd Men’s Open Basketball Trophy after defeating Stallions 87-73, on May 31.
The trophy was organised by Oriental College Kohima within the college premises at Seikhazou, D Khel Kohima village.
Team Amplified received a cash award of INR 30,000 while the runners-up Stallions received INR 15,000, both with trophies and citations.
Mhaphrouvikuo Kire of Amplified was adjudged the most valuable player of the tournament.
Principal of Oriental College, Kohima, Dr.Ketshukietuo Dzuvichü handed over the awards to the winners in the presence of vice principal Gopal Basnet and convenor, organising committee Ruokuovituo Zatsu. Keviuchütuo Kuotsu delivered the vote of thanks.
