Minister of Forest, Environment and Wildlife, Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire, on Saturday, inaugurated 12 waiting sheds containing biblical names in the premises of Dimapur Airport. The waiting shed was constructed by Dimapur Timber Industry Association (DTIA).
Dr. Kire, while inaugurating the waiting shed, appreciated the initiative taken by the DTIA for constructing 12 waiting sheds, besides donating 12 dustbins and a foldable mobile table, which are needed at the Airport.
He also thanked the Dimapur Airport Authority for permitting the construction.
The minister said construction of toilet in the vicinity was in the pipeline adding that contributions towards the cause were welcome.
“If more people come forward for contribution, then more sheds could also be constructed,” he added.
The meeting was attended by Director of Dimapur Airport Authority and donors of the waiting sheds.
