Adventure and Motorsports Association Mokokchung will host the 9th Auto and MotoX at Imkongmeren Sports Complex as a Northeast Championship round.

MOKOKCHUNG — The Adventure and Motorsports Association Mokokchung (AMAM) will organise the 9th Auto & MotoX at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung, from February 5 to the 7th. The event will also double as a round of the Northeast Championship 2026.
According to the organisers, the three-day event will feature competitive Autocross and MotoX categories, bringing together racers from motor and moto clubs across Nagaland and neighbouring Northeastern states.
In the Autocross segment, competitions will be held in three categories — Open, Below 1300CC and SUV. The MotoX segment will have two categories — Beginner and Open.

The organisers said the total prize pool for the event stands at INR 3.50 lakh, along with trophies and certificates for winners.
As per the schedule, February 5 will be reserved for scrutiny and technical inspection of all participants. On February 6, the AutoX event will be flagged off in the morning by Imkumwapang, District Transport Officer, Mon, as inaugural patron, while the MotoX segment in the afternoon will be inaugurated by Longden Longkumer, Managing Director, LL Group Nagaland.
The final runs will take place on February 7, followed by the prize distribution ceremony, where Wangpang Konyak, Advisor for Social Welfare, will be the special guest.
AMAM stated that the event is sponsored by Nagaland Minerals & Mines, PitStop Kohima, MG Dimapur, Ahibi and Digi Printer.
The association said the programme is aimed at providing a platform for young motorsports talent, promoting skill development and safety, and fostering a motorsports culture in Mokokchung and the region.
