KIPHIRE — An awareness programme under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) was conducted by the Amahator Range Students' Union at Government High School, Amahator, in the Kiphire district on June 19.
The resource person for the programme was Lithrila, GNM of PHC Amahator. She spoke on the harmful effects of drug and substance abuse on individuals, families, and society. She also highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and seeking help when needed.
The programme was conducted to create awareness among students and promote the message of a healthier and safer future. Information regarding the national toll-free de-addiction helpline, 14446, was also shared to encourage individuals to say no to drugs and yes to life.
