DIMAPUR — The Jalukie Pumling Youth Organisation (JPYO) and Jalukie Students’ Union Nagaland (JSUN) convened an emergency meeting with the contractor of NH-129A Package-II road construction, AM Infra Company, to address the prolonged delay and poor quality of the ongoing road construction works, on June 28.
In the course of the meeting, the company issued a written assurance to both organisations, committing to complete the construction within the stipulated timeframe and in full compliance with the Detailed Project Report (DPR), with no compromise on quality standards, the JPYO stated in a press release.

“The company also assured that it would prioritise and promptly resolve the inconveniences being faced by the public, particularly in inhabited areas and NH approach road junctions disrupted by the construction of the drainage system.
“The organisations have firmly stated that any failure to fulfil the written commitments will compel them to take appropriate and necessary course of action,” the release added.
