Altrura Society open football tournament at Chumukedima

Dimapur, Aug. 3 (EMN): The Altrura Society (AuS) is all set to conduct its 5th Altrura Open Football Tournament tentatively from Sept. 6 till the 15^th. According to a press release the tournament is scheduled to be held at Chumukedima town local ground, Dimapur under the theme "Dream, Believe, Achieve". A total prize of INR 1, 70, 000 has been set for this tournament. AuS president Visakuolie Medom said the tournament aims to popularise and promote sports activites among the youths in the rural areas and also to provide a platform to the youths to excel in bigger soprts events. He thanked all the sponsors, patrons, and other individuals for their involvement towards thew success of the tournament over the years. Organising committee convenor, Megosielie Kruse extended invitation to all the interested teams and clubs across the state to be a part of this tournament. He said the tournament would be a great opportunity for footballers to boost their skills and talents.
