Alobo Naga launches ‘Kini’ in Mumbai

Alobo Naga, front man of Alobo Naga and The Band (ANTB) and winner of MTV EMA 2012 - Best Indian Act, launched his second full-length album titled ‘Kini’ at Hard Rock Cafe, Worli, Mumbai on Tue. Sep. 26, 2017 under the flagship property ARISE curated by Artist Aloud and Hard Rock Cafe together. Kini means two in the Sumi dialect and has 12 peppy songs to enthral listeners from all age groups. The album is produced, mixed and mastered by MOTO from Germany. ‘Kini’ was launched in the presence of Music Task Force Director Gugs Chishi, renowned Bollywood singer Kailash Kher and legend in itself Uday Benegal of Indus Creed. Speaking more on the occasion, Alobo Naga stated, “the album took one year to complete and it is a real special feeling for me today. The hard work put by all the people associated with this project has finally paid off. I am so grateful to Artistaloud, Hard Rock Cafe, Chishi, Kher, Benegal and my teacher Nise Meronu for the love and support to turn Kini into reality. Not to forget the lovely crowd who turned out in massive numbers to support the album.” Alobo sang all the important tracks from the album like L&T, WOLO, Never Let You Go, Chasing Ghosts and is well supported by Nise Meruno on piano for a special session classic songs from Elvis Presley, Boyzone and Beyonce. Melange a jazz, folk rock band from Mumbai sang some foot tapping number as an opening act. EMN
