All samples from Nagaland test negative

Dimapur, March 30 (EMN): All 22 samples sent for Covid-19 testing from Nagaland have returned negative, according to an official update from the government on Monday.

No fresh samples were sent for testing on March 30.

As of 2 pm on March 30, a total of 4096 persons, including students who have returned from outside the state from March 6 onwards, had self-reported to their respective district surveillance teams; out of which, 3594 were under home quarantine and 502 had completed home quarantine.

Through the self-declaration app, a total of 2364 persons had registered themselves with ‘complete details’. However, 1099 persons were yet to provide their ‘complete details’.

Governor RN Ravi conducted a review ‘to assess the evolving situation in the state on account of the Covid-19 pandemic’ with the DGP, principal secretary of Home, principal secretary of Health and Family Welfare and other officers.
