DIMAPUR — The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Wokha Unit will observe its raising day-cum-annual picnic on November 18 at My Resort in Tzuza Eru, Pangti.
According to an update, the event is being organised by the Sungro Range Taxi Owners and Drivers and will feature community bonding, fun activities, and a focus on environmental responsibility.
In a commitment to sustainability, the unit will hold a plastic-free picnic by conducting a cleanup drive to remove plastic waste from the Tzuza Eru areas. The initiative will begin on November 17 and conclude on November 18, coinciding with the raising day celebrations.

The day’s programme will include various activities such as traditional tug-of-war, live music, and other entertainment.
To ensure full participation, taxi services under the ANTA Wokha Unit will remain suspended on November 18. The unit has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused, while warning that defaulters and absentees will face penalties according to its established guidelines.
