DIMAPUR — The All Nagaland Private Schools' Association (ANPSA), Phek unit, in collaboration with the Kalos Society, hosted its Cultural Meet 2026 at Nazareth Higher Secondary School in Pfutsero on April 30.
The event, held on the theme "Cultural roots and rhythm: Celebrating our heritage", brought together about 400 attendees, including students, teachers, Kalos Society members, and public leaders, stated an update.
Wetsho Lasushe, EAC of Khezhakeno and Zuketsa, attended the occasion as the guest speaker and shared his thoughts aligned with the theme.
A highlight of the meet was the folk tune competition, where 24 schools showcased their talent across various categories. The competition was judged by Hüshezülü Khamo, Zheitshüte Lasushe, and Leakhru Dominic Shupao.
In the double quartet with Tati competition for the senior category, Chakhesang Mission Higher Secondary School, Pfutsero, secured the first position and received INR 4,000 with a citation. Baptist Mission School, Phek, secured the second position and received INR 3,500 with a citation, while Tewelhi Medo Tyrannus School, Pfutsero, secured the third position and received INR 2,500 with a citation.

In the quartet with Tati competition for the junior category, Chakhesang Mission Higher Secondary School, Pfutsero, secured the first position and received INR 3,000 with a citation. Spero School, Thenyizu, secured the second position and received INR 2,500 with a citation, while Baptist School, Pfutsero, secured the third position and received INR 1,500 with a citation.
In the duet competition for the sub-junior category, Spero School, Thenyizu, secured the first position and received INR 2,500 with a citation. Eastern Christian School, Chozuba, secured the second position and received INR 1,500 with a citation, while Woodland Christian School, Pfutsero, secured the third position and received INR 1,000 with a citation.
Citations were awarded to all participants and participating schools.
