DIMAPUR — The All Nagaland College Students' Union (ANCSU) has condemned the repeated burglary offences committed by Kekietuo Solo, who not only targeted the office of Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) but also stole significant amounts of money from several educational institutions, including INR 45,00,000 from Baptist College Kohima, INR 35,000 from Oriental College Kohima, and INR 3,00,000 from Kohima College.
The union described his criminal actions and unethical behaviour as a threat to civilised society, particularly within educational institutions, which are founded on principles of trust, honour and integrity that the union upholds.
“The alarming behaviour has created an atmosphere of fear and anxiety among the college community, leading to heightened concern that similar incidents may occur in the future,” stated the union.

The ANCSU has appreciated the tireless efforts of the police in their commitment to 'Security, Service, Sacrifice' and for apprehending the culprit. The union expressed confidence that the law enforcement agency would take all necessary measures to ensure appropriate punishment for the culprit in accordance with the law and to prevent such incidents from happening again.
Furthermore, the union called upon all responsible citizens and organisations to denounce such actions.
“In these challenging times, it is essential that we uphold the principles of justice and solidarity. Let us work together to restore faith in our law enforcement agencies and create a safer and more just society for all,” the union concluded.
