With an aim to provide platform for school children and youths and to explore their talent, Toxic Peace- a progressive fusion band from Mon Town organised an open beat concert on Dec. 20 at Council Hall in Mon.
An update from the organisers issued on Dec. 22 informed that the open beat concert- 'Harmony 2018' was co-sponsored by Tattoo Tribe and Advisor Duda, Nagaland, Bongkhao Konyak.
The special guest was said to have been the SP Mon Imnalensa (IPS).
Toxic Peace is said to have been successfully performing in Nagaland as well as outside the state since 2002.
The organisers aims to promote healthy competition as well as enhance interaction among the schools of Mon district, the release stated.
Alive, a local band from the district was said to have won the contest while 'Shadows of Pearl' was the runners-up.
