ALIMCO will hold assessment and distribution camps across Kohima district from July 1 to the 6th.

DIMAPUR — The Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kohima has issued a notice informing the public that the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), a central public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, will conduct assessment and distribution camps in Kohima.
According to a DIPR report, the camps will be held under the Assistance to Disabled Persons (ADIP) Scheme and the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY) Scheme for needy persons with disabilities and senior citizens aged 60 years and above in various sub-divisions of the Kohima district.
According to the notice, the camps will be held on July 1 at the Council Hall, Sechu Zubza; July 2 at the District Social Welfare Conference Hall, Kohima; July 3 at the CDPO Office, Chiephobozou; July 4 at the District Social Welfare Conference Hall, Kohima; and July 6 at the CDPO Office, Jakhama.

Eligible beneficiaries have been requested to attend the camps and bring the required documents.
For the ADIP Scheme, beneficiaries must produce a Unique Disability ID (UDID) Card or UDID enrolment number, along with a Medical Disability Certificate indicating 40 per cent disability or above; an Aadhaar Card; an income certificate issued by the district administration showing a monthly income not exceeding INR 22,500 or a ration card; and two passport-size photographs.
For the RVY Scheme, beneficiaries aged 60 years and above are required to produce an Aadhaar Card, an Income Certificate issued by the District Administration showing a monthly income not exceeding INR 15,000 or a BPL ration card/proof of receiving a pension, and two passport-size photographs.
