Alemwapang Ao has been elected president of the Nagaland Amateur Boxing Association for the 2025–2029 term in an election conducted under BFI guidelines.

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Amateur Boxing Association (NABA) conducted its election of office bearers for the 2025–2029 tenure on Saturday at the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) Office, Kohima.
The election was overseen by Hemanta Kumar Kalita, observer from the Boxing Federation of India; Azhato Nyekha, observer from Youth Resources and Sports; Neiyalie Angami, returning officer and treasurer, NOA; and Neivikuolie Khatsu, presiding officer and assistant secretary general, NOA, according to a press release from NOA.
Held in accordance with the NABA constitution and guidelines of the Boxing Federation of India, the election saw participation from representatives of affiliated district boxing associations.

Alemwapang Ao has been elected as president. The vice presidents are Lakatsu Chophy, Manphoa Konyak and K Edward Ngullie. The honorary secretary is Khrielievio Tsumvu, while the honorary joint secretaries are Keduolhoulie Kro, V Chingmei Phom and Ejanhung Ngullie.
Imtisunep Ao has been elected as treasurer. The executive members are Vibeilietuo Kets, Khrietulie Usou, Pungbacung Meru and Rikhum Yimchunger.
