These two roads via Lower Dilong Ward and Tongdentsuyong-Alongmen is the only road connectivity for Alempang Ward. However, the road is riddled with potholes and ditches because of lack of maintenance which cause nuisance for the commuters especial the students while going to schools and colleges,” he said.
He added that the last maintenance works were initiated five years ago by the Public Work department.
The executive engineer of PWD (R&B), Mokokchung division, informed that all the roads under Mokokchung town have been handed over to the Urban Department in 2020.
