DIMAPUR — The NSCN (IM) has declared that Aimol, Chiru, Kom, Koireng, Kharam and Purum are bona fide Naga tribes, as they have officially emerged with the Nagas, and that “there should be no confusion about their tribe identities whatsoever”.
“Therefore, these, Naga tribes should not be harassed in any manner including in the name of taxation by the Kuki organisations or valley based organizations. These Naga tribes as part of the Naga family should be respected and honoured,” read the press release.
