AIFOF officials interact with state Forest dept

Dimapur, May 5 (EMN): With the ever increasing need for strengthening and streaming the forest service and to bring a uniform system of Forest Administration throughout the country, the All India Forest Officer Federation (AIFOF) is spearheading the efforts to bring various welfare measures for all forest executive staffs of the country. In line with this, two delegates from All India Forest Officer Federation (AIFOF) led by the general secretary, Kamal Singh Yadav accompanied by North East Zonal Secretary, Takeng Samior visited Nagaland State on May 2 and 3 and has an interaction with Nagaland Forest Executive Staff Association (NFESA) at the Conference Hall of Forest Office Complex in Dimapur on May 2.General secretary of AIFOF, Jamal Singh Yadav, shared various agendas being taken up with Government of India for the welfare of Forestry personnel across the country. Some of the major subjects discussed were; Implementations of recommendations of National Forest Commission, framing of uniform recruitment rules and training standards at national level and the establishment of Environment Court all over India. NE Zonal secretary, Takeng Samior, shared about the AIFOF meet held in New Delhi earlier this year. President of NFESA, Beizo Suokhrie chaired the interaction programme while vice president, Rampaukai highlighted the activities of the association and vote of thanks was proposed by senior member of NFESA Obed Bohovi Swu.
