Dimapur, Aug. 26 (EMN): The department of Animal Husbandry an d Veterinary Services (AH&VS) conducted an awareness camp under ASCAD 2017-18 on Aug. 24 at Terogvunyu village under Tseminyu block.
During the camp, the deputy chief veterinary officer of Kohima, Dr. Joseph M Angami spoke on rural economic upliftment through livestock rearing.
Resource person for the event, Dr. Gwathonlo Tsela, VAS Tseminyu while talking on the livestock diseases, briefed the participants about the preventive measures and timely vaccinations.
The camp was attended by farmers from Terogvunyu, New Terogvunyu and Henbenji villages.
