
DIMAPUR — The district administration of Wokha, as part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, organised a one-day agripreneurship workshop at Sanis Multipurpose Hall, Wokha, on May 17.
According to a DIPR report, the event was organised in collaboration with the ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) Research Complex for NEH (North Eastern Hill) Region, Nagaland Centre, and ICAR-KVK (Krishi Vigyan Kendra), Wokha.
SDO Sanis, L Samuel, speaking on the occasion, expressed his gratitude to the resource persons from various departments for their participation, which included Dr. Aabon W Yanthan, scientist (Horticulture Vegetable Science) and in-charge of the Agri-Business Incubation (ABI) Centre, Nagaland; Moaakum Pongen, CTO, ICAR-KVK, Wokha; Anuranjan Singh, project manager at Shishoi Oshom-ETF Cell, Wokha; Achio Kikon, district manager, CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd., Wokha; and a representative from the Medical department.
A total of 55 participants attended the programme.
