Agriculture dept. bids farewell additional director

DIMAPUR — Agriculture department bade farewell to its outgoing additional director, N Jacob Yanthan, during a programme held at its directorate in Kohima on Tuesday.

The director of Agriculture, Ben Yanthan, in his short speech, lauded the outgoing officer for his integrity and sincerity throughout his service, an update from the department stated.

In his farewell speech, N Jacob Yanthan thanked the Almighty for successful completion of his service and also thanked all the rank and files of the department with whom he got an opportunity to work. He further encouraged the staff to continue rendering yeoman service to the people especially the farmers.

It stated that different speakers have enumerated various qualities of the outgoing officer, shared recollections and anecdotes during their association with him.

The farewell programme was chaired by M Ben Yanthan and the service profile of retired officer and speech on behalf of the staff was delivered by K Remphamo Lotha and a song was presented by Account and Budget section of the department.
