Agriculture department felicitates award recipients

[caption id="attachment_267185" align="aligncenter" width="500"] Director of Agriculture, M Ben Yanthan, speaking at the felicitation programme for the Governor’s Award recipients on August 22.[/caption] Dimapur, Aug. 22 (EMN): Department of Agriculture organised a felicitation programme in honour of the Governor’s Award recipients namely N Jacob Yanthan, Joint Director of Agriculture; Bendanglila, Joint Director of Agriculture; and Bongkham Phom, Agriculture Officer, on August 22 at the directorate conference hall, Kohima. The programme was chaired by M Ben Yanthan, Director of Agriculture. Speaking on the occasion, the Director, Additional Director and other senior officers have congratulated the award recipients. In their short speeches, the award recipients expressed gratitude to the department for nominating them. They have also thanked the state government for conferring them the prestigious state-level award. They further reaffirmed their commitment to work harder for the benefit of the department as well as the farming community of the state.
