farming’ in Ungma village on February 20.

to impart knowledge and awareness among the livestock farming community to
prevent the spread of disease and to protect animals, people and the

of introducing animal or plant disease and facing their accompanying economic
costs,” it stated.

Services. He emphasised on low cost bio-security practices on livestock farms
and ranches such as isolation/ quarantine, traffic control (limit coming on the
farm) and sanitation.

by mixing with water, use bleaching powder 10-20 gm per 5 litre of water or use
bio-acid by mixing with water @2ml/litre
of water

spread of pathogens, feed management, disposal of dead animals, de-worming and
vaccination.
