Agri. products collection centre at Chessore village

Dimapur, Sept. 1 (EMN): In what would help the farmers in the rural areas, a collection centre for kholar and agriculture products was inaugurated at Chessore village in Tuensang district on August 28. The collection centre constructed under Northeast Rural Livelihood Project, Ministry of DoNER and funded by World Bank was inaugurated by district coordinator micro finance NERLP, DPMU Tuensang, Thrikyuse Sangtam, informed a press release issued by Tsongs K Yim. Speaking on the occasion, Thrikyuse told the self help group village federation of Chessore, consisting of 45 SHGs to continue working with a strong vision and strive towards building a strong and sustainable future. He also lauded the Chessore village council for its immense cooperation and contribution in the successful implementation of the project in the village. Thrikyuse appreciated the PFT of Chessore Block for tirelessly facilitating and guiding the community towards realisation of NERLPs with its motto ‘Creating opportunities for better livelihood.’ Achimla, block project coordinator NERLP Chessore block; and K Throngkiuba, 2nd GB of Chessore village, also spoke during the inauguration programme.
