Dimapur, Dec. 20 (EMN): A newly constructed Agri-link road and marketing shed under MGNREGA in Kezoma village under Kohima district was inaugurated by Alemla J Chishi, DRDA project director, Kohima, on December 12 in the presence of Khovi Thaprü, BDO RD block, Jakhama.
Alemla also graced the GPDP Gram Sabha day at KVSU hall, wherein she lauded the VDB and village council for the coordinating regarding the governance and developmental activities relating to the welfare and security of the people. She also commented the transparency in all their activities by earning the people’s trust. She further expressed her admiration of the village council hall measuring 80ft x 58ft double storey building which is on the verge of completion.
Addressing the public, Khovi pointed out on the importance and significance of the day.
An intensive interaction was conducted wherein issues concerning the critical gap and major challenges faced by the villagers were also discussed.
On the developmental front, the village chairman spoke on the evolution and progress of various establishments.
The programme was chaired by village council secretary and the invocation was said by pastor of CRC Kezoma. The programme highlights included detailed project report on Agri-link road and marketing shed by VDB secretary Zadekhweto Zecho. The vote of thanks was delivered by Head GB.
