Dimapur, July 2 (EMN): A portion of the aged brick wall, marking the outer border of the SEWAK collapsed on Saturday falling over a row of thatch house located beyond the border wall. The wall was reported to be over 40 years old.
According to Residency colony chairman, the wall collapsed around 10 a.m., Saturday. The wall, over 6 feet in height destroyed two kitchens, housing three families. The chairman said some of the occupants were in the kitchen at the time of incident, but no casualty was reported.
He also added that few months earlier a tree standing on the edge of the Sewak border wall had collapsed and damaged a civilian house located behind the wall.
