Dimapur, Oct. 12 (EMN): The 8th Biennial Youth Conference of association of Gorkha Baptist churches Nagaland (AGBCN) hosted by Nepali Baptist Church Chumukedima got underway at Chumukedima town hall on Friday with attendance of 350 delegates.
Rev. Mathias Subba, director of Himalayan evangelical fellowship Kalimpong, Darjeeling was the speaker at the introductory session of the three day conference.
Rev. Subba said that team work is the need of the hour to bring about positive change in the society and said that the priority of the youths is to be in step with the word of God. He therefore, asked the youths to have spiritual awakening so as to have a meaningful life
Youth secretary AGBCN, Shishir Lama shared the greeting while Santabir Rai, executive secretary AGBCN exhorted the gathering.
The function was chaired by Daniel Biswa youth Chairman GBC Diphupar Convenor of the Youth Conference Pastor Robert Aley gave the orientation Session.
All together 32 Gorkha churches from Nagaland are taking part in the 8th Biennial Youth conference of AGBCN, stated a press release from the association.
