Dimapur, Oct. 19: Having made its presence felt in various parts of the world with more than 1000 stores since being introduced in 2013 in Tokyo, a store of the Japanese retail brand Usupso was inaugurated on October 19 at Mall 1922, Khermahal junction, in Dimapur.
The store offers a wide range of products from digital goods to beauty products, gift products, stationery, creative home wares, boutique packages, kitchen accessories, toys, and decorative accessories among others.
Inaugurating the store, Kaisa Rio, wife of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, congratulated the proprietor for bringing in the Usupso franchise.
Acknowledging the need for more jobs in the state, Rio lauded the retail brand for giving wings to aspiring youths by creating job opportunities through the store.
Rio expressed confidence that the company, being a budget-friendly brand, would meet the satisfaction of its customers.
The proprietor of the outlet, Meguonuo Rio Yaden welcomed customers and well-wishers to the store, all this after successfully opening another store in Guwahati on Oct. 14, and in Kohima on Oct. 17.
Yaden pointed out that the Japanese brand offers affordable lifestyle products. She spoke about the brand’s philosophy being based on simplicity, quality and naturalness. Usupso stands out bright and bold as it deals with the fast-changing fashion and lifestyle of the youths, she said.
Usupso deals with lifestyle goods too ranging from INR 99 to INR 1500, Yaden said. She assured to fill the store with new products every 20-25 days so that customers will always have something from Usupso.
Likewise, she assured that the men's fashion and grooming products will be available in the store within 10-15 days.
The store has announced introductory discount schemes to customers even for items which are already very low-priced. The discount scheme is valid for a period of one week, added the proprietor.
