Dimapur, Oct. 12 (EMN): Phek Deputy Commissioner, Orenthung Lotha has informed all the landowners and beneficiaries affected by the construction of 2-laning of Pfutsero to Phek road under SARDP-NE, that compensation for the damage shall be paid in the office of the DC, Phek on Oct. 25 for areas/villages under Pfutsero sub-division and on Oct. 26 for areas/villages under Phek sadar from 10:30 am onwards.
The chairman of the concerned villages/wards (for urban areas) have been asked to be present physically for identification of landowners and beneficiaries during the disbursement of cheques, failing which the payment shall be withheld.
The DC also requested all the landowners, beneficiaries to bring two recent passport size photos, not scanned photos; a photocopy of first page of bank passbook where details of the applicants are cited and a photocopy of either aadhaar of EPIC (electoral photo id card).
“Payment to any other representative other than the concerned person shall not be entertained,” the DC stated.
