Dimapur, November 22: An advocacy workshop on tobacco control for all dental surgeons of Kohima district and declaration of tobacco free dental clinics will be held at De Oriental Grand Hotel, Kohima, on November 24 at 2 p.m.
The workshop will be chaired by president of Indian Dental Association Nagaland State Branch, Dr. P Koza, while the State Nodal Officer NTCP and Joint Director of DHFW, Dr. H Chishi will speak on the role of dental surgeons in tobacco control and the Additional Director of DHFW, Dr. N Savino will announce the declaration of tobacco free dental clinics.
Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Rovilatuo Mor, will also deliver short speech and the vote of thanks will be delivered by the District Nodal Officer, NTCP, Dr. Arenla Walling.
In this connection, Chief Medical Officer, Kohima, Dr. Avino Metha has requested all concerned to attend the programme positively.
