This, he said, ensures that the governance system is responsive, inclusive, and people-centric and that every tribal community gets the services and opportunities they deserve, guided by principles and core values of service, resolve, and dedication, which form the backdrop of this initiative.

The programme envisions a fully inclusive, empowered India where every community, especially tribal populations, partakes in the development journey by empowering tribal communities, strengthening grassroots leadership, and bringing people-centric governance to every doorstep of villages through selfless service, determination, and dedication.
Secretary of the Tribal Affairs Department, Angelina Tajen, in her short speech, briefly highlighted Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA), a scheme launched by the Prime Minister on October 2, 2024. It is a nationwide initiative aimed at the holistic development of tribal communities in India. For Nagaland, she said, 15 departments are converging, each making their own interventions to the scheme.
Highlighting the convergence mode, she said all relevant departments are coming together to build up the nation with a cadre of trained change leaders at the village, block, district, and state levels.
With DAJGUA to be implemented in 608 villages in Nagaland, she expressed hope that 79 trainees from the districts would go back and implement all that they had learnt in the training.
A team of SMT, two super coaches, four members from the Bharat Rural Livelihood Foundation (BRLF), and 69 DMTs from six key departments from 12 districts will be training the officials during the four-day programme.
