Advisor to CM condoles demise of Thongde

Dimapur, Oct. 7 (EMN): The advisor to chief minister, Abu Metha, have condoled the demise of its general secretary, Thongde Imlong, who passed away on October 7 in Dimapur.

Abu Metha stated that Thongde Imlong was the general secretary of Nagaland Adventure and Motor Sports Association (Namsa) and advisor of the Adventure and Motorsports Association of Mokokchung.

Abu stated that he had many accomplishments in the field of motorsports and was a nationally well known navigator in the rally circuit having participated in regional and national events. He was also the winner of the first ever North East Orchid Rally that took place across the entire region, Abu added.

As a sports administrator, Abu stated that he made positive contributions in promoting and developing sports particularly in the field of motorsports, where he gave his best with passion and sincere commitment.

Abu further lamented that the sports fraternity has lost an able administrator.
