DIMAPUR — Advisor for Information Technology & Communication, Economics & Statistics and Evaluation, H Sethrongkyu Sangtam participated in the state IT ministers’ round table conference held as part of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, on October 8.
Union Minister for Communications, Jyotiraditya M Scindia, who chaired the conference, emphasised the need for states to work as equal partners in achieving India's vision of a digitally empowered, connected and resilient Bharat, a DIPR report stated.
The minister called upon states to adopt best practices, accelerate last-mile connectivity, ease RoW processes, and leverage innovative models to bridge the digital divide and unlock the full potential of the digital economy.

The high-level meeting focused on the theme ‘Innovate to transform,’ emphasising transformation across telecom, industry, infrastructure, society, and sustainability, in line with the national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
It may be noted that the Government of Nagaland has been actively working towards improving telecom infrastructure and services in the State through close coordination with the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India, and telecom service providers.
The state government continues to align its policies with the national vision to promote economic growth, digital inclusion, and enhance the overall quality of life for its citizens, the report added.
