DIMAPUR — Advisor for Youth Resources and Sports S Keoshu Yimchunger inaugurated a multi-playground at Kalakha in Khezhakeno, Phek, as the special guest on March 14.
According to a DIPR report, in the inaugural function held at Tsodelo Taza-o, Kevekha Kevin Zehol, Chairman of NSSB, and chief patron and pioneer of the multi-playground, briefed the gathering.

He thanked the Komuno Khel of Khezhakeno for adopting a resolution on December 3, 2023, to freely make the required land available for the multi-playground and allow him to utilise as much land as was required for its construction. Accordingly, the cutting work for the multi-playground started on April 1, 2024.
Addressing the gathering, Keoshu thanked Zehol for his generous heart and concern for his village, solely taking up the construction of the standard-size football ground and badminton court. He further appreciated Zehol for his vision to take up the construction of other grounds, including a basketball court, a badminton court, and another football ground.
He stated that since there is already a standard-size football ground, they may go for a futsal ground, which will be initiated from the government side to make it into a reality.
Keoshu called upon different bodies, including the village council, church, students, and youth, to maintain the grounds. He called upon the community to treat government properties with a sense of ownership and to initiate community participation in their repair and improvement.
