Speaking on the occasion, Konngam stressed on the importance of archaeological and heritage gallery stating that the gallery would be a valuable educational resource for all. He also encouraged the department to study and discover more to preserve the rich culture of Nagaland, stated a DIPR report.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]It stated that an overview of the archaeological gallery was presented by Prof. Tiatoshi Jamir from the department of History and Archaeology at Nagaland University, Kohima.

An invocation prayer was said by Neichalie Chad, pastor of Central Baptist Church, while the welcome address was delivered by the commissioner and secretary of Art and Culture, Athel O Lotha and concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by the director of Art and Culture, Adel Moa.
The programme was chaired by the joint director of Art and Culture, Merensola Longkumer.
