DIMAPUR — Advisor for Land Resources G Ikuto Zhimomi convened a consultative meeting with Kukami (GBs) of the Aghunato area, spanning from Nihoshe to Khumishi Village, at Kukami Ki in Aghunato town, Zunheboto, on Wednesday.
Organised by the Aghunato Area Kukami Kuqhakulu, the meeting was also attended by GBs from the Asuto area and Tizu Island, according to a press release.
Speaking on the upcoming Census 2027, Zhimomi urged village leaders to view the exercise beyond political lines and to prioritise development and the upliftment of the Aghunato area.

During the discussion, the advisor asked the GBs if there were any resolutions passed by the Aghunato area GBs that had not been followed or accepted by him or by former MLAs. He reassured the gathering that any resolution passed unanimously by the GBs would be accepted and acted upon.
Zhimomi acknowledged the contributions and presence of GBs from the neighbouring Asuto area and Tizu Island and reiterated his commitment to work collaboratively with community leaders for the welfare of Aghunato.
