The 10th Imchaba Masters Memorial Nagaland Open Volleyball Trophy held from 22nd to 25th Sept. 2015 and organized by Mokokchung District Volleyball Association (MDVA) ended with much success with Parliamentary Secretary, Youth Resource, MTF & Lotteries, Khriehu Lizietsu as the Chief Guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest lauded the sponsor (Imchaba family) and the organizer (MDVA) for their co-ordination and selfless effort in organizing the tournament, which is one of the biggest volleyball tournament in the state.He thanked all the 18 participating teams for their positive attitude in coming together and exhibiting their talents saying that sports is one platform that unites people and thereby bring peaceful atmosphere in the society.
The winner of the tournament are, Champion-Adventure Club Changtongya Rs.70,000/- (along with running trophy), Runners-Up, Citizen Club Longsa Rs.45,000/-, 3rd place, Sporting Club Mangkolemba Rs.30,000/- and 4th Place, Tongden Club Chungtia Rs.20,000/-. While individual prizes were bagged by Moatemjen-Best Spiker, Toshienba-Best setter and Imnungkumba-Man of the tournament.
