DIMAPUR — Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Dr. Virendra Kumar, virtually inaugurated the addiction treatment facilities at Mon District Hospital on Thursday.

A DIPR report stated that a total of 41 addiction treatment facilities were virtually inaugurated by the union minister from Nalanda hall at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, 15 Janpath, New Delhi, in the presence of Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale; Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, A Narayanaswany; and Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Pratima Bhoumik.

The inauguration programme at Mon District Hospital was attended by the deputy commissioner of Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, medical superintendent of District Hospital, Dr. Gwalozu Thong, and other officials.
