Dimapur, Dec. 10 (EMN): Additional Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has ordered the sealing of the State Bank of India, Chedema branch in view of the detection of Covid-19 positive cases.
A DIPR update stated that the branch would be sealed from December 10 to the 12th 'as per the guidelines on preventive measures to contain the spread of Covid-19’.
"Fumigation of the premises is to be done and aggressive contact tracing will be initiated, following all health measures and SOPs of the government," it stated.
"The sealed area is mapped and cordoned off and the public and all concerned have been advised to follow all safety precautions of wearing masks all the time, frequently washing hands and maintain social distances to ensure public hygiene and personal safety within the proximity of the sealed area," it added.
