ADC Chiephobozou Alemyapang Longchar urges improvement in staff attendance

ADC Alemyapang Longchar stressed improving staff attendance at the Chiephobozou sub-divisional meeting, while NIELIT experts highlighted cybercrime awareness and reporting measures.

Alemyapang Longchar chairing the monthly coordination meeting at DB's Court, Chiephobozou, Kohima, on Wednesday.


DIMAPUR — The monthly coordination meeting of Chiephobozou sub-division was held on Wednesday at the DB's Court, Chiephobozou, Kohima district.


Chairing the meeting, ADC Chiephobozou, Alemyapang Longchar, stressed the need for improvement in staff attendance and requested all departments under the Chiephobozou sub-division to remain at the station and perform their duties efficiently for the citizens.


According to a DIPR report, he also suggested the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Chiephobozou create awareness among all the village council chairmen regarding cattle healthcare, animal diseases, and the treatment of sick animals.

He reminded the departments that do not have a land patta to submit a proposal of land to the office of the ADC Chiephobozou for taking up the issues at the state level. He thanked all the departmental officials and heads of offices (HoOs) for their coordination and initiative in making the Independence Day celebration a grand success.


After the sub-divisional meeting, a cybersecurity awareness programme was conducted by faculty members of National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Kohima, where the resource person, Principal Forensic Analyst, NIELIT, Atoshe Lohe, emphasised how to report a cybercrime in India. He said one can file a complaint using the online portal www.cybercrime.gov.in or call 1930.


Another resource person, Joint Director, NIELIT, A Morimenba Amer, highlighted the types of modern cybercrime threats, social engineering attacks, etc.


The members also welcomed the newly posted 10 NAP (IR) BN commandant, Kenesa, and assistant commandant 4 NAP Thizama, Neisezolie, while the Chiephobozou Town Council chairman, Khrielelie Kerhuo, exhorted the members and asked government employees to be present in their respective offices to address public grievances.


Departmental activities were also highlighted by Assistant Surgeon, Veterinary Dispensary Chiephobozou, Dr. N Suokhrie.
