The All Commercial Vehicle Association (ACVA) today held an emergency meeting at ANTA Office Wokha Unit over a statement in media by NSCN(R) accusing Y. Bankathung Lotha, President ACVA who is also an executive member of the Lotha Hoho.
The meeting deliberated on the threat to Bankathung’s life allegedly by Abemo ‘self-styled’ Lieut. NSCN(R) who claimed to be from Wokha village. The ACVA cautioned that if any unwanted incident happened to Bankathung, Abemo will be held responsibility.
A statement issued by Action Committee convenor K. Khonthungo Lotha and general secretary, C. Renbi Ngullie said, the issue arose on November 9 around 10:30 a.m. between Y. Bankathung Lotha and Abemo (self style Lieut. NSCN(R)) through telephonic talk and not against the NSCN(R) in general.
