DIMAPUR — A five -day acupressure and chiropractic therapy camp organised by the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Dimapur District, on the theme ‘On the side of humanity,’ got underway at the Lions Health Centre, Lions Club, Dimapur, on Saturday.
Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, who attended the inaugural event, said that the camp offers an excellent opportunity for residents of Dimapur and nearby areas to explore holistic treatments and experience relief from chronic ailments under expert guidance, a DIPR report stated.

The DC highlighted the benefits of this alternative healing approach, saying that “those who do not wish to undergo knee surgery must visit them for consultation.” The camp focuses on offering viable non-surgical solutions to chronic pain and musculoskeletal issues.
The registration fee is INR 100 per participant for the full five-day programme, which will be led by three experienced practitioners: Dr. Ravinder Bishnoi (MD in Acupuncture), Th. Kailash Kumar (MD in Chiropractic), and Dr. Mahendra Singh (MD in Acupuncture).
The camp provides specialised therapies, including acupressure, chiropractic care, fire cupping, vibration therapy, and magnet therapy, offering non-invasive, drug-free relief for chronic conditions like back pain, sciatica, joint pain, cervical issues, thyroid problems, headaches, asthma, and arthritis.
The sessions will be held daily in two time slots: 9:30 am to 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
