Governor PB Acharya has extended his ‘heartiest’ greetings to ‘my beloved people’ of Nagaland on the occasion of Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In his message, the Governor said that Easter is a time of thanksgiving and rejoicing, “it is a time to remind us of the blessings that we have, our families, our friends and our lives, we should all remember the true meaning of Easter and the sacrifice that has been made out of love, it is a time of great anticipation as we expectantly wait for the resurrection of our savior”.
Chief Minister: Chief Minister TR Zeliang has extended ‘warm’ Easter greetings to all the people of Nagaland on the joyous occasion of Easter.
In his message the Chief Minister said, “Easter Sunday reminds us the victory of Christ over death through His resurrection, and the believers’ victory over death through Him, and the assurance of life eternal. May the joy of Easter renew in us the assurance and hope everlasting life”.
